CONCEALED CARRY COURSE
This is a five-hour class, which includes marksmanship, holster selection, survival preparedness, a law enforcement perspective, and legal considerations. Students will have one hour of live fire exercises one on one with a certified instructor. This course meets the requirements for the Virginia Concealed Carry Permit. Price: $125 (non-refundable). This extremely popular Ladies Only class is four hours in length and is taught by an amazing all female instructor staff. The class includes 45 minutes of live fire exercises one on one with a certified female instructor and 45 minutes in our Ti Training simulator. This is a three-hour course for women taught by our amazing all female instructor staff. The program focuses on the awareness and techniques necessary for developing an alert mindset to recognize risks and dangerous situations with the goal of avoiding becoming a victim. Included is an overview of different use of force options and how to prepare for disaster. Additionally, this course offers an extensive review of various methods and options for how to carry a firearm concealed, specifically with women in mind. Price: $75 (non-refundable). DEFENSIVE SHOOTING SIMULATOR COURSE
This is a three-hour intermediate level simulation-based course that utilizes our state-of-the-art Ti Training Simulator. The program focuses on the concepts of self-defense with a firearm and threat assessment in addition to teaching the skills of shooting on the move, shooting multiple targets, and shooting moving targets. Previous shooting experience/instruction is highly recommended, as this is an intermediate level course. (Note: Some simulation scenarios contain graphic images and/or profanity.) YOUTH RIFLE PROGRAM
This course is designed for children between the ages of 10 and 17. Students will learn about firearm safety and rifle marksmanship in a comfortable environment, while developing excellent safety habits and solid shooting fundamentals. In addition, youths will have an opportunity to try various .22 rifles such as TacSol, Smith & Wesson, Henry, Ruger, and K.S.A. Crickett. Price: $75 (non-refundable). VIRGINIA FIREARM LAWS EXPLAINED SEMINAR
This is a two-and-a-half hour seminar, taught by a Virginia Attorney, who is Former NRA Assistant General Counsel. Participants will learn everything they need to know about Virginia firearm laws: where you can and cannot carry; open carry vs. concealed carry; interstate travel with firearms; when you can use a firearm in self-defense; how to handle a traffic stop if you have a concealed carry permit; what to expect if you have to use your firearm; a discussion of the various legislative changes that went into effect in July 2020, and the Internet concern regarding the subject of wearing a face mask while concealed carrying. Please expect for the class to go 30–45 minutes beyond its anticipated end time, depending on the number of questions our instructor will receive at the end of the lecture. ACTIVE THREAT RESPONSE–LEVEL 1 COURSE
This eight-hour course utilizes our state-of-the-art shoot house. This program focuses on the fundamentals of marksmanship and self-defense with a firearm, in addition to situational awareness and defensive plans of action. Students will learn use of cover, threat assessment, and how to tactically navigate home and office. This program also incorporates Force on Force reality-based training with scenarios in the shoot house that will enable students to practice and refine their defensive plans of actions. Prerequisite: ESS Basic Pistol/Concealed Carry Course or ESS Instructor approval and the ability to pass a criminal background check. Price: $250 (non-refundable). LEOSA QUALIFICATION
This course of fire is offered to qualified current and retired law enforcement officers and retired members of the military with valid LEOSA credentials (pending are not accepted). An HR218 LEOSA handgun weapons card will be issued with a qualifying score. This is a timed 50-round course fired from 5 to 15 yards. One hour will be given for practice, training, and qualification. Participants must bring: Driver’s License and Law Enforcement current or retired credentials or a military LEOSA card; handgun (pistol or revolver) authorized by your agency; 60 rounds of ammunition (an additional ten-round practice course of fire is offered as an option immediately preceeding the 50-round qualification); two magazines (semi-auto) or two speedloaders (revolver); OWB, IWB, or patrol duty holster of rigid construction (e.g., plastic or leather, must conceal trigger and trigger guard, must NOT collapse when pistol is removed from the holster). Join our Chief Armorer Robb Jensen in this two-hour workshop, in which they will provide you with the knowledge necessary to safely and properly clean your firearm. Our armorer staff will walk you through the disassembly (field strip), cleaning products and techniques, proper lubrication, preventive maintenance, and reassembly of your handgun. Have questions about customization and pros and cons of parts changes? Our armorers will answer any of these questions in a 30-minute Q&A as a part of the workshop. All you need to bring is your unloaded firearm (revolver or semi-automatic pistol), owner's manual, and the cleaning kit of your choice.
